Lulu, the Happy Little Lamb
A free farmyard story about kindness, courage and finding joy
Ages 3–8 · Illustrated PDF · No sign-up
Lulu, the Happy Little Lamb is a free, fully illustrated picture book for children ages 3–8. Lulu's big brother Patch always pushes her aside at feeding time, but Lulu doesn't stay sad for long: she learns to nibble grass, hops through the meadow and cheers up a little rabbit who has lost his carrot. When kind Aunt Daisy takes her in, Lulu grows strong enough to stand her ground. It is a gentle way to talk about sibling troubles, kindness to others and choosing to be happy. Noah and Lina's Little World of Chaos
Muddy puddles, toppling towers and bedtime giggles
Ages 3–8 · Illustrated PDF · No sign-up
Noah and Lina's Little World of Chaos is a free, fully illustrated picture book for children ages 3–8. Noah and Lina's days are full of muddy puddles, toppling block towers and bedtime squabbles, and somehow they always end up side by side for a story before sleep. The pictures carry most of the story, so pre-readers can follow along, and the everyday mix of mess, arguments and making up gives you an easy way to talk about getting along, sharing and saying sorry. Download the PDF to read on a phone, tablet or computer, or print it for story time.
Growing Healthy with Eva
A free story of gardening, family love and healthy growing habits
Ages 3–8 · Illustrated PDF · No sign-up
Growing Healthy with Eva is a free, fully illustrated picture book for children ages 3–8. Eva starts the day at the family breakfast table, plants seeds in the garden and looks after them as they grow, learning the small, steady habits that help children grow strong too. It is a gentle way to start conversations about healthy food, family time and patience, and it pairs well with a real seed in a cup on the windowsill. Download the PDF to read on any screen, or print it for story time.
Questions parents ask
- Are these story books really free?
- Yes. All three books are complete and free to download, with no email, account or payment. They are our gift to families who read with their children.

- Yes. They are ordinary PDF files, so you can print them at home on A4 or US Letter paper, staple the pages and make a little book to keep.
- Can we read them online without downloading?
- Each book is a PDF, so after you download it, it opens in the PDF viewer your phone, tablet or computer already has. No app or account needed.
- What ages are they for?
- Ages 3 to 8. The pictures tell most of the story, so pre-readers can follow along while a grown-up reads, and early readers can try the words themselves.
