My Silly Pet – Part 1 is a collection of short, funny animal stories for children ages 4–9. Each tale follows a different pet — a guard dog who forgets his job the moment a biscuit appears, a wobbly cat who turns an ordinary day into an adventure, fluffy chickens with big opinions — and every one of them finds a way into trouble that children recognise from their own homes. Because the stories are short and self-contained, they work well for bedtime, family story time, and early independent readers who want to finish something on their own. Underneath the giggles, the collection keeps returning to love, acceptance, and the particular friendship between a child and their pet.
